Glen Head Burglaries Have Residents Concerned
A recent crime wave of attempted break-ins and burglaries have residents in Glen Head, NY, very concerned.
Nassau County police are aware and are investigating recent incidents in Glen Head in the last few weeks.
Some of the most recent break-ins have occurred in “The Promenade” section of Glen Head.
Residents have reported that these break-ins usually take place during the day between 1 and 4 p.m. while no one is home and that most of the stolen items consist of painkillers, cash and electronic devices.
Neighbors say that males who appear to be in their teens will knock on doors and ask if they have the right address, to see whether or not anyone is home.
According to police, two burglaries were reported on Todd Drive and Todd Court.
